Hey folks, I was bored with pasta one day and decided to do the following:
- Cook some pasta (one bag should do, those small ones??)
- Microwave some frozen veggies (again, one small bag)
- Take a can of pasta sauce, and add whatever spices you like (basil? garlic?) or just use Garlic and Basil sauce!
- When the pasta's cooked al dente, run cold water over it
- In a large bowl, mix the pasta with the veggies, pour the sauce into the mix, and add however much shredded cheese you want (I mix mozzerella, cheddar, and jack cheese)
- Mix it all up gently (so you don't squish all the pasta) and then pour it into a casserole dish (whatever size you like ..)
- Top with more cheese and bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes
I'm sorry there's no real recipe for this...I don't measure anything :-) It just tasted great, my whole family ate seconds and inhaled this stuff. Obviously, you can substitute "real" cheese for soy and stuff like that, but overall this stuff was great and I'd make it again for sure! Enjoy!
