Hi Sue,
I've just read your message and I must say that I certainly understand your feelings. I too am lonely, and sometimes I feel so sad, but then I pray and look up and get 'busy' as my friends have suggested and I find many things to do to occupy my time, with reading, praying, enjoying friends sometimes and giving of my time to Jesus Christ. He is awesome and he is the ONE that has never, ever left me through so much sadness, and many setbacks in my life, and my son have multiple disabilities, and struggling with my finances, and battling depression.........and??? You know, all of this is now under the blood and everyday that I wake up, I rejoice throughout the day, someone once told me to, 'make my day count and at the end of each day, I then ask myself, 'did I make my day count' and its yes, yes, yes. Believe it, there are those that have such a tough time now, loosing their homes, lifesavings, cars, lives and we are to help each other and love each other everyday. My mate and yours is being prepared right now by God,' he has chosen the right person and a loving person for you and me and others. Won't you love him and just tell yourself that God is working with you daily on YOU and that you are SPECIAL to him............blessings.

You are certainly not the only one afraid of chat rooms, or lonely. I might be able to go there, but I don't like to enter a room full of strangers, and don't want to do that in a dark room (where I can't even see anybody!)
I think that you send birthday greetings is a lovely idea.
I love old people, however, you are not all that old...well, the pictures I see of Jesus are looking younger all the time!
This singles site can be discouraging, I think. After all, there must be something wrong with me if I am still alone. But it still seems worth it to continue.

I do not go into the chat rooms because I do not know what to do, and am unable to keep up with all the stuff in there. I like to send birthday cards to people even if they are the same sex as I am, as I make so many myself for my church family and friends that sending greetings is important to me, to be able to make people happy that they were remembered on their birthdays. I am a person on oxygen and I sit at home a lot. Especially this last few months as I got 5 virus's (me not my computer.) I have to have something to do, so I can keep going and show God's love for mankind to others. Please, keep me in your prayers. I am a learner, and not a user as I have never had any instruction on computers. I love writing and wish for someone to guide me in the use of the chatroom, but am still scared of them.
