'God Sent a Man' is a book written by Carlyle B Haynes. I just finished re-reading it, and highly recommend that you check it out!
The book is fiction in that it uses enormous literary license to tell the story of Joseph the son of Isreal, but is based solely on the scriptures. The thing I liked so much about the book is that Mr. Haynes takes all the events surrounding Joseph's life, and paints a picture that illustrates the lessons Joseph learned in his journey through life, and his implicit trust in his father's God: 'Jehova-Jira', the God who 'sees to it'. The book is incredible for building faith in the Only True God, and shows that we aren't on this planet by chance, but at the direction of the Almighty, and that He has a specific plan for our lives. I hope you love this book as much as I do!
