I do not feel rejected and it is not at all to do with what others think of me, it's rather what i think of myself.

i want to love myself so much. love myself in a way our lord loves us. i want to stop paying so much attention to myself and start paying more attention to the people around me.he does not me any less, yet it is hard to attain this inner peace that others talk about.

apearance always matter to me. i judge myself harshly. this is one aspect of my christian life that i am trying my best to deal with.

Keep in mind, you can look and feel beautiful to others but still not find the inner, calm, peace or satisfaction that comes from God. Looking good to others won't validate one, it might cause a few heads to turn, but if the underlying issues aren't addressed, you just find yourself masked with the physical while the inner shows pain.

One thing I would like to ad is this: God loves us so very much. Society has so tainted the minds and thinking of many people whereby we feel it is our job to determine what/who is attractive or unattractive and sadly we measure ourselves by these standards.
In changing the outer appearance, does it control the heart? It must be a struggle for anyone toiling daily about their physical appearance, rejection based on looks, but at the same time I believe that beauty is truly beheld in different manners by different people.
Many have plastic surgery say for instance a breast reduction for health reasons, removing warts or moles.....Changing the total appearance is not something that I guess I've thought about more indept, I do know that we as loving christians should be a little more loving toward others and less judgemental toward looks, ect.
Examine the matter further is ask yourself is this something I really want or is this based on hurt experienced by others.

Personally, I think the answer to the question is personal and individual to the circumstances. If a person is lacking in self-esteem due to a perceived imperfection, that should be taken into consideration. I believe God wishes us to have a positive self image. If we don't it may just be necessary.

some would suggest that plastic surgery is for vanity purposes and not for a godly individual.

but what about the thousands of dollars spent on hair, make-up, clothes etc.

we have spent large sums of money for cosmetic reasons but the spiritual implications are hardly evern looked at

is it wrong? maybe the question is our focus on pleasing GOD? are we spending more time trying to have an outward beauty and neglecting our inner beauty

""1 Peter, women are reminded to put more effort into developing a gentle and quiet spirit than an outward beauty""

"""David is said to have had "a fine appearance and handsome features" (1 Samuel 16:12)"""

while wanting to look and feel beautiful is fine, they should not be what controls us.

The Bible makes says that God is more interested in a beautiful heart than a beautiful head of curls
